A set of three large Royal Worcester figures from The Four Seasons, Spring, Summer and Winter, c.1968, modelled by Sir Arnold Machin (1911-99), from a limited edition of fifty made for Thomas Goode & Co. of London, white glazed, two with a gilt metal fitting to the base with stiff leaf decoration, impressed and green printed factory marks, 17 ¼in. to 18in. (44cm. to 45.75cm.) high. (3) * - Spring: Firing cracks to x-brace to underside of base. No other faults. - Summer: Firing cracks to x-brace to underside of base. Tiny frit to tip of one flower in bouquet. - Winter: Firing cracks to x-brace to underside of base. Three small chips to edge of base. Tiny frit to robe. No other faults.
