A George III cross banded oak eight day longcase clock by John Shepley of Stockport, the bell strike movement fronted by a square brass Roman dial with signed silvered chapter ring, mask spandrels and foliate chased date aperture, the case with ogee moulded cornice on turned columns, the trunk with cross banded Dutch arched door, on bracket feet, 75¾in. (192.5cm.) high, good colour.
