A letter and envelope written by S.S. (Schutzstaffel) Doctor Hauptsturmführer Erich Berg on 14th March 1941 to a Miss. Helga Ruser (suspected Girlfriend) written during WW2.

Hauptsturmführer Erich Berg was born on 20th Marh 1943 and joined the S.S. early receiving the S.S. number 217 986. Berg was attached to Heinrich Himmler's Mobile H.Q. as a Reichsführer-SS officer and was involved in experiments at Buchenwald Concentration Camp. He was also involved at the Oranienburg Concentration Camp, and the Warsaw and Kraków Ghettos.

Upon liquidation of the Ghettos he continued his experimental work at the Buchenwald Concentration Camp (Bad Berka) and was known to use Dutch resistance workers as the subjects of his experimental medical work.

The fate of S.S. Doctor Hauptsturmführer Erich Berg is unknown.
