A Shako type helmet plate with a crown above GR monogram and the number 26 for the 26th (Cameronian) Regiment, gilt copper with twin fixing points to the reverse, 13.3 x 8.5cm. *CR Old repair to reverse at base of crown, gilt finish rubbed.
