A group of five medals, orders, attributed to Lt Col Ian Innes 'Tim' Milne, comprising a CMG, an OBE, a Defence medal, a War medal, and an USA Legion of Merit Officer
Tim Milne, nephew of A A Milne, went to Westminster School and then read classics at Christ Church, Oxford. He went into marketing in 1934. In 1940 was commissioned into the RE and in 1941 recruited by his childhood friend Kim Philby. Milne continued to work for MI6 until 1968, with copy notes
