A Victorian silver chocolate pot, William Devenport, Birmingham 1897, of baluster form with beaded borders upon three shell-capped paw feet, hinged cover with floral finial, ebonised wooden loop handle, 17cm high, weight 9.10ozt
Heavy denting, moderate scratching and wear throughout. There is some splitting below the spout, and signs to the interior of previous repair on and around the spout. There are further black marks to the interior, but no obvious indication on repair on the exterior. Cover is slightly loose at the hinge. The handle is slightly loose. Jug sits flat on a level surface. See pictures for illustration.
