Mid 19th Century Continental Officer's Sword
31 3/4 inch, double edged, narrow blade. Gilt brass, oval guard with standards and central wreath and lion. Rear folding section absent. Gilt brass crossguard and knuckle bow with laurel leaf decoration. Gilt brass pommel with winged lightening bolt decoration. Shagreen covered, twist grip. Contained in its leather scabbard with brass mounts. Old break to leather. Complete with gilt wire sword knot.
