A KASHAN PERSIAN CARPET, hand woven in the village of Ardekan, North West Iran c.1980. Material: ‘kork’ wool hand woven by two weavers on a hand loom over a nine-month period, with a knot density of 400,000 knots per square metre, dyed using all natural vegetable dyes. Design: this rug features an intricate floral central medallion design with arabesque floral motifs on a deep red ground. Size: 307cm x 222cm. In good condition
