A late 18th/early 19th century Louis XV style walnut serpentine commode chest, having a rouge marble top and profuse parquetry inlay, housing three long drawers with ornate ormolu handles above a shaped apron with marquetry inlay, on splayed feet with ormolu sabots.
H90cm W130cm D64cm (approx).
Condition report: Minor loss to corner of marble. Missing top drawer lock escutcheon. Handles are later. Various minor losses and cracking to veneer.
