A J. PURDEY OAK GUN CASE AND ACCESSORIES.
A large oak gun case, the interior of the lid with a paper label for J.Purdey 314 1/2 Oxford Street, London, Gun Manufacturer. The case with a variety of compartments containing a leather covered powder flask stamped 'Sykes' Patent, a three part cleaning rod, a turn screw marked G & J W Hawksley, a similarly marked oil container, an unusual 16 bore bullet starter serial number 4151, bullet extractor and other items. The case 14cm high, 90cm wide and 28cm deep.
