Engines built that year were the final batch of Jubilee Class 4-6-0 Nos 5682-5742, becoming BR 45682-45742, and Class 8F 2-8-0 Nos 8012-14, becoming BR 48012-14, so this plate is most likely to be from a Jubilee. Cast brass, 10¼"x6", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
