Belgium: large blue 'SAFE' ring binder of small exhibitions/fairs etc from 1835, Trade Card for Belgium Industry Exhibition to 1918 History of Smoking Exhibition. Just under 100 pages full of promotional vignettes/cinderellas, postcards, covers, billheads, labels as well as mint/used definitives and commemoratives with scarcity amongst them. Antwerp International Exposition 1894 mint and used, definitives/commemorative with scarcity amongst them. Needs to be seen to be fully appreciated.

From the collection of Tom Pring, a highly respected member of the Belgian Study Circle and the author of two works on Belgian issues, ‘Fine Barbe Varieties’ (2009) and ‘1893 Armoires du Royaume’ (2015). Pring was half-way through a work on the Ostend-Dover Route, which he was sadly unable to complete.
