A pair of late 19th or early 20th century Japanese cloisonne ovoid vases with domed covers and chrysanthemum finials, enameled with butterflies and flowers in autumnal hues within vertical panels with gold sparkly inclusions, 13 cm high to/w a somewhat similar compressed globular example enameled with phoenix, butterflies and flowers within lappet shaped panels, 12 cm high, all c/w with a pierced hardwood display stand, late Meiji or Taisho period
