A French ebonised lyre-shaped 8-day portico mantle clock,19th century by Marti and Sons, the case inlaid with brass, mother of pearl, and tortoiseshell decoration, the movement chiming the hours and half hours on a coil gong and fitted a white enamel dial and a decorative cast grid iron type pendulum. 27 cm wide x 49.5 cm high x 13.5 cm deep.

The case is in good decorative order with some slight lifting of the brass The movement winds and runs but then stops after a little while The chiming is out of sync and chimes the hours at the half-hour and so on Fine cracks in the enamel of the dial at the bottom of the circle
