Postal History. 1950s De La Rue copper intaglio printing plate for scarce promotional label depicting Bodiam Castle, Sussex, similar in style to the 1955-68 Wilding Castle high val defins, with border around and lettering below: 'Thos. De La Rue & Co. Ltd.'. A print of this design in black appears as a new discovery in publication 'Dummy Stamps' Issue 9 (Summer 2008) p. 3, which indicates printings also in photogravure, in six separate colours - blue, red, orange, dark brown, black and sepia.
