Two interesting framed displays of artefacts from the Battle of Rorkes Drift and Isandhlwana, 22nd January 1879, including bullets and musket balls, flattened Martini Henry cartridge cases, buttons, male portion of an OR’s waist belt clasp, etc from the former, and fragments of 7 pounder artillery shells, friction tube, and musket balls from the latter, mounted on red cloth backing in pale wood glazed frames. GC; together with original receipts from a Durban dealer dated 2003, and a list of the items in the Rorkes Drift frame.
