A balloon shaped late-Victorian mahogany moonphase mantel clock having an eight-day duration movement striking the hours and half-hours on a bell with the white enamel dial having black Roman numerals, blued-steel moon hands with the inset centre having three subsidiary dials for Day/Date/Year and with a phases of the moon disc below XI o'clock, the mahogany balloon case with inlaid boxwood stringing, a pediment top and standing on cast-brass bracket feet, height 46cm.
