Royal Marine Artillery Officer's full dress sabretache, 1872-1901 Pattern, red moroccan leather pouch overlaid with a blue cloth face, this with a scarlet cloth edging overlaid with 4cm regimental pattern gold lace border, in the centre QVC surmounted by lion in gold and silver thread, GIBRALTAR in gold thread in gold thread scroll with maroon velvet backing, gold thread laurel leaves with silver and gold bullion globe to centre, gilt crossed cannon barrels below and PER MARE PER TERRAM in gold thread in gold thread scroll with maroon velvet backing, 5mm hole to scarlet edgeing, some rubbing to moroccan leather on reverse, generally good very fine and rare.
