DIEGO MARADONA 1993/94 MATCH WORN #10 ARGENTINA JERSEY
Presented is an Argentina National Team jersey used by Diego Maradona between 1993 and 1994. The diminutive attacking midfielder led Argentina to the 1986 FIFA World Cup title in one of sport's greatest individual performances, scoring five goals and assisting five more throughout the tournament as Argentina defeated West Germany in a thrilling final. Such magic, however, could not be recaptured at the end of his international career; with La Albiceleste's struggles in the 1994 World Cup qualifiers and then their early departure from the tournament in the United States with Maradona's failed drug test and subsequent suspension being the final nail in the coffin the golden era carried by Argentina's favoured son came to a swift and abrupt end.
The offered jersey features Maradona's number "10" in the felt applique style. An "AFA" gold crest is embroidered on the jersey's upper left chest, with a black Adidas logo resting on the opposite right chest. The jersey exhibits moderate use. Sized T4.
