Railway. An album of good quality black and white prints (13cm x 10cm) made up as a spiral bound book, titled "Western Steam On The Move 1960's". The prints are glued in place and are all fully captioned. They feature ex GWR steam (approx. 130 prints) and ex Southern locomotives (approx. 85 prints) and a few BR Standards. Locations include: Southall, Greenford, North Acton, Reading, Paddington, Redhill, Christchurch, Eastleigh, Hinton Admiral and Wandsworth. Copyright remains with the photographer as he still has the negatives, sample illustrated. Included with this lot are 3 x 4cm square format, black and white negatives. Rare photographs of GWR loco no 1151, withdrawn and sold to R & S Haynes at Bridgend for use as their yard shunter. As photographed on the 12th July 1964 on the main line with a demolition train at the nearby and long closed Tremains Halt. It was uncommon to find a privately owned loco on B.R. metals at this time. These negatives have full rights to use with copyright, all shown.
