A French Continental 19th century boulle work & ormolu eight-day movement mantle clock. The clock having a torch shaped finial atop with scrolled acanthus leaves and face masks within sun-rays brass decorations. The clock having an ormolu & enamel clock face with Roman numerals to the chapter ring and an eight-day movement. The pendulum in the shape of Louis XIV ' Sun King ' mask. Boulle work throughout the front, raised on shaped brass supports. Measures approx. 40cm x 21cm x 11cm.
