1905 Tooting Bec Golf Club Large Bronze Winners Monthly Medal - finely embossed with period golfing figure on the obverse and engraved on the reverse with the winner's details 'Won By - F W Brown - 80 - Scratch - Feb'y 1905' - stamped with makers details Waterlow & Sons London - overall dia 2 3/8" (60mm). Note Tooting Bec Golf Club was formed in 1888 but because of its position and closeness to London it was always going to be destined for future development. After 14yrs on the Furzedown Estate, the club moved in 1906 to South Lodge (designed by Willie Park) after the expiry of the lease at Furzedown
