19th century Chinese export hand painted metal tea canister of rectangular form with applied floral painted fabric panels, contained in a rectangular wooden box with silk embroidered panels of exotic birds amongst flowers and foliage, the box 21cm wide, the canister 18.5cm wide.
Worn and faded silk outer box. Cannister misshapen, with some dents, as images.
