These prints are from Designs from Greek Vases in the British Museum by Alexander S Murray. Published by Longmans 1894. First edition.
They depict interior and exterior designs from kylikes (vases). The plates show paintings on red-figure, ancient, Greek vases which were produced from c530 B.C. to c330 B.C. in Greece and southern Italy. Most of the subjects shown are taken from ancient Greek myths.
Size: approx. 11in x 17in (28cm 43cm).
The prints are in excellent condition - please inspect the image carefully for any occasional age related marks.
