Sannah's Post POW's 1899 QSA 4 clasps Relief of Kimberley, Paardeberg, Driefontein, Transvaal and 1902 KSA both clasps to 35718 B.Q.M. Sgt J. Whitehead U Bty R.H.A. (B. Qr Mr Sjt R.H.A. on KSA) good extremely fine. With 6 copied pages of service record, casualty list and various articles on the Sannah's Post action. John Whitehead was the senior SNCO from U Battery captured by the Boer's at Sannah's Post on the 31st March 1900 and was released 6th June at Waterval. U Battery suffered a total of 122 POWs at this action.
