LARGE 19THC CHINESE CANTONESE BASIN & LIDDED JUG. 19thc, a large Cantonese basin painted to the interior with various Court figures within room interiors, the flared rim painted with butterflies, fruit and flowers (41cms diameter). Also with a large lidded Cantonese jug painted with similar scenes, with a double strap handle and domed top lid with buddhist lion finial (27.5cms high). Both with damages. (2).
Basin, two large sections of the rim has been broken and repaired with lines visible, both have cracks running from the damage one of which runs to the base, large star crack to the base, large chip along the rim.
Jug, lid - finial with chips, small repaired chip to the rim, large chip underneath, jug - small graze to the rim, small hairline to the rim, grazes to the base rim.
