A Burmese silver coloured metal mounted hardwood bowl, boldly carved with dragons amongst dense fruiting branches, 23cm diam, c.1880
Please see attached images. The interior of the bowl has stable splits of varying degrees, which are not visible from the exterior. The exterior frieze lacks some carved detailing in places. The silver mount is loose and lifting in places; could easily be tightened back in situ, I imagine. Unusual bowl.
