A pair of English porcelain cylinder spill vases, possibly Bloor Derby, 19th century, each painted with a continuous landscape scene, between gilt borders, unmarked, each 10cm high, with a similar larger example, 11.5cm high, and a shaped tapering footed example, decorated with a farmer and his dog with a scalloped rim, 14cm high (at fault) (4)
Provenance: Wykey House
Each vase shows surface scratching and wear to the gilt, minimal losses to the landscape scenes. One vase shows a hairline crack down one side and a chip to the to the rim, (as seen in photo). The footed example shows a chip to one foot. No other obvious signs of damage or restoration.
