A Chinese blue and white lotus vase, hu, Qianlong seal mark but Republic period, moulded with a pair of animal mask ring handles, finely painted with lappets to the neck above two registers of lotus flowers scrolling tendrils and leaves, above a further band of waves, 26cm high
Provenance: The owners parents lived in Hong Kong before 1940 when they purchased this vase, thence by family descent.
Typical minor glaze imperfections including some fritting to the glaze on the ring handles, otherwise in good condition with no restoration, chips or cracks detected.
