WW2 Third Reich Heer Officers Lion Head Sword with 860mm long fullered single edged blade, maker marked "Alcoso, Solingen". Wire bound black celluloid grip, Lion's eyes set with red glass. Silver finish to guard. Eagle to crossguard. Complete with scabbard wth remains of original black paint. Reproduction sword knot.
Sword blade has some edge knocks and plating loss, see photos. Scabbard paint is original but worn. Screw missing to scabbard throat.
