Collection of coins & a few jetons, ancient to circa 17th Century, including Scythian Kingdom of Pakistan; Azes II (circa 35 BCE to 5 CE), silver Tetradrachm (large fragment), 7.11g, definitive coinage, south-western provinces, obverse; King, holding whip, mounted on horse walking right, Greek legend around, reverse; Zeus, standing left, holding winged Nike on outstretched right hand, and long sceptre in left hand, Karosthi legend around, control marks for North Chach, M(A&C)-2402, together with China, Western Han dynasty bronze “Ban Liang,” 206-25 BCE, (attributed to Emperor Wu, 140-87 BCE), plus Italian States, Lucca, contemporary counterfeit of 12th Century billon Denar, period Henry III to Henry V of Francs (1039-1125), and 36 others, generally crude or low grade, some faults, but an interesting assortment.
