An 18th century Channel Islands silver christening cup, maker's mark AB (unknown, probably Guernsey, late 18th century) with double struck London assay and standard marks, of small proportions, typical form with cast beaded scroll handles and short waisted foot, inscribed 'a NDG dom de son grand Parain INT 1796', 2¼in. (5.8cm. high, weight 2.49 tr.oz.. * Good condition, with no significant faults or repairs.
