Two large carved wooden and lacquered figures, Meiji period and including a seated old man with detachable head, and a standing female figure, both mounted on wooden rock effect bases. One figure with paper label underneath with character marks, various damages. Figures 44cms and 29.5cms high. (2). ** Old man, various chips to the face, crack across the back of the robe, various paint loss and chips in places to the figure and base.
