MORTONS AMMONIA POISON BOTTLE. (DP p126). 8.1ins tall. A truly chunky deep aqua glass bottle. Rectangular, similar to a flat dispensing bottle shape, but with narrow, slightly concave, sides & corner panels. Vertical lines to front with three embossed lines POISONOUS at top, MORTONS diagonally across middle, AMMONIA near bottom. Believed dug from Milnes Bridge Huddersfield, ex Norman Lewis & ex Roy Sherwin Collection. Extremely rare, we can only record 2 examples known? NR.
