A GEORGE III VERGE FUSEE POCKET WATCH BY GEORGE DUNCAN, the repousse pair case pocket watch with white face and black Roman numerals, hallmark to inner watch case slightly rubbed, believed to be for London 1777, movement signed Geo Duncan London 8851, with watch key and double Albert chain, approximate watch diameter (excluding case) 40mm, approximate length of Albert chain 345mm (Condition report: watch not currently ticking, there are some scratches to the glass face, there are some fine cracks to the enamel, the repousse case shows heavy tarnishing and there are four places where the metal has worn and made a hole on the high relief repousse, two repairs can be seen to these on the inside of the case, the Albert chain shows wear throughout where the plating has worn away, we do not guarantee the working condition of any watch)
