A Georgian mahogany bureau, the fall front revealing a fitted interior with four long drawers below, with brass handles, ivory escutcheons and raised on bracket feet. 96x113x48cm. This item has been registered as exempt from the UK Ivory Act 2018 on account of it being made before 3rd March 1947 with less than 10% ivory by volume. Some splitting to most panels. Missing cock beading to second drawer. Most escutcheons show some damage. Locks are not original. Some missing parts to fitted interior including center drawer. Watermarks. Covered writing to right panel. Damage to feet.
