Vintage Gordon Russell Rosewood Veneered GR Series 1 Desk & return with Chrome Details from the Prestige Range. Designed by Trevor Chinn in the 1970s. Difference in shade from sunlight panels consistent with age and use.
Dimensions: Width 7ft Depth 3ft, Height 2ft 5inches, with extension unit 3ft x 1ft 9inches x Height 2ft 4inches. Purchased by current owner in 1976 from Heals of London. CITES Certificate No: 629094/07
There some darker areas where it has been covered whilst the rest has been lightened by sunlight. The legs are fine, just need a polish. The drawers are stiff but would be fine in a dry warm place. There is a small dark patch on the desk return about 1/2 an inch in diameter, screw damage from below.
