Railway. Modern Traction. A collection of approx. 112 x 35mm, DUPLICATE and original, colour slides, mostly on Kodak film stock. A few of the slides appear to be slightly fuzzy and not razor sharp. The slides feature a good variety of first generation diesels and electrics, including some diesel hydraulics. There are several slides taken at Swindon in the early 1980's, these appear to be original and show the many locomotives in store at the time. Nine of the slides are square format and feature preserved Westerns. Most of the duplicate slides date from the 1960's and early 1970's, although not marked as such they are easy to identify. Most/all of the slides are captioned. Copyright to pass on the original slides only. Sample illustrated.
