NAPOLEONIC WARS AFTERMATH - HANOVER/G.B. - CHELSEA PENSIONERS' DUKE OF CAMBRIDGE FREE COVER; 9 Aug. 1816 EL (overall light toning) to Ottersberg v. fine "HANNOVER" sent free by Lieut. "A. Hesse" of the King's Legion endorsed "Military Service" but also exceptionally endorsed "George von Cambridge" (the frank of the youngest son of Britain's King George III, the Duke of Cambridge). The contents appear to refer to the start of the Legion's free mail from 24 Feb. 1816.
