A Chinese carved sandalwood brisé fan, Qing Dynasty, with fourteen inner sticks and two the guards very deeply carved, mainly with figures and buildings, the central sticks worked in bands with different designs, the tips and central inner panel showing figures and buildings, fitted with a silk and gold thread tassel, guard approx. 24 cm.
