Fees

A late 19th century French Empire style ormolu mounted mahogany three piece salon suite, comprising settee and pair of armchairs, with later fabric upholstery, the arms supported by sphinx and the legs with griffon motifs, standing on stylised paw feet, settee W.4ft 7in. D.2ft 5in. H.3ft 6in.

CONDITION: Chairs W.2ft 2in. H.3ft 3in. D.2ft 1in.

This suite looks to date to the mid to late 20th century, in the main the mahogany is a very dark tone but with some slight bleaching to the top rail and back of the settee, minor scuffs to the extremities of the frames, slight separation of the joint of the left arm of the settee where it meets the back, mounts are rubbed down to a dull bronze finish, scuffing and wear to the legs and feet.
