One of two unknown Dinky Toys Guy Warrior Vans "Golden Shred" (920). These two have recently surfaced from an old Dinky Collection here in the U.K. Other items from this Collection are also to be found in this Auction. This example is in bright red with the "Robertson's GOLDEN SHRED" decals to sides, cab with glazing, complete with both opening doors to rear, yellow wheels with late issue treaded tyres. Baseplate with correct late style gloss tinplate finish and correct rivets. In a late style Dinky Toys period factory box without picture to lid. Box 7/10 some wear overall, corners to lid have been reglued at some point. Vehicle Mint. £N.G.P.P.

See Page 208 "Guy Warrior Van (920) "Golden Shred" (not issued). The drawing was done on the 26th March 1957 but the toy was not known to have been produced. These two we've concluded are both unknown production ready factory samples, a similar situation to the Dinky Toys Austin (470) "Omnisport" van.
