WWI - TRIO OF BERBERA/BURAO COVERS TO G.B. + FRENCH DJIBOUTI COVER WITH SCALLOPED ADEN CENSOR: Sept. 1915/Nov. 1917/Mar. 1918 trio of envs. to GB each with KGV 1a Red tied by fair to fine "BERBERA/SOMALILAND" 'bridge' type cds's - each signed as censors by officers at bottom left of address, the 1917 cover also endorsed "S[omaliland]. C[amel]. C[orps]." and the others from the "26th Cavalry". Plus unusual 5 Jan. 1917 env. (slight stain) to USA with French Somali 25c tied by v. fine 2-ring "COTES FRANCAISE DES SOMALIS/DJIBOUTI" cds having a superb scalloped purple "No./AB-105/ADEN" censor on the front and plain white "Opened by Censor." label on reverse.
