A fine Japanese Meiji period lacquer calligrapher's chest of three drawers. The exterior ornately decorated with prunus and pine decoration and bearing gilt metal mounts. 31cm x 20cm x 19cm.
Part of a private collection amassed by the vendor's great-grandfather whilst traveling in Europe and South America 1890-1930.
