BARBERA, G (Ed) Fior Da Fiore Dalle Opere Di Dante Green cloth boards with gilt lettering to front, elaborate gilt and black decoration to front and spine, raised profile of Dante to front, minor wear to, edges, spine slightly darkened, decorative end pages, ffep has small label from a previous bookseller, otherwise pages are clean, light foxing to early pages, and occasional small signs of it throughout, whole volume is beautifully decorated with floral borders to all the pages, the title page has colourful decoration in blue and gold, in the style of an illuminated manuscript, as does the following page, Bernardo Cennini, Firenze, 1892. Features a quotation from Dante for very day of the year. A scarce volume.
