7868 - Oil on canvas by the English artist R. Rawlings (aka Terrence Vickress). A fine original painting by this talented artist depicting Wayne Rooney in his England number 9 shirt. The canvas is stretched on stretcher bars ready to frame. He was born in Rochford, Essex, England on April 13th 1955. He trained at Southend art school where he studied illustration and sculpture, He ultimately made the transition from illustration to portraitist and enjoys the unrestrained freedom of painting fine art, landscape, seascapes, traditional scenes and nudes. Among his many commissioned portraits are several Secretary Generals to the Commonwealth Parliament Association, numerous Mayors, Lord Lieutenants and Members of Parliament.
