Late 17th Century carved oak bracket, carved with a grotesque mask and paper scroll, 22cm x 16.5cm
The rear part of the top is a later replacement (see image with the flathead screw). There is a loss to the paper scroll crest at the top of the mask. There are small losses elsewhere.
Overall some fine in-depth carving.
