ANTIQUE CHINESE SILK SKIRT. Probably late 19thc or early 20thc, the pleated red silk skirt with printed floral pattern, with embroidered panels of flowers and birds on a red, blue and cream ground. With fastenings around the waist. approx 88cms high, waist 67cms across, hem approx 96cms across.
Generally it has survived well and has been stored in a camphorwood trunk for many years. The waist band is a little dirty over time, one corner of the hem is a little dirty, otherwise it has survived pretty well.
