A fine Swansea armorial plate painted by Henry Morris with the arms of Clark of Hereford impaling Parkinson above the motto 'Frangas Non Flectes' [I may be broken but never bent], the lobed and beaded rim painted with four urns filled with garden flowers divided by green and gilt foliate scrollwork, iron-red mark, circa 1820, 21.5cm. Note: Illustrated- W.D.Johns 'Swansea Porcelain' 1958, pl.35. Provenance: Sotheby's Lot 86, 22nd November 2005.
