Royal Worcester powder blue ground bowl, printed blue marks, 20th century, shape number 2769, painted by A. Shuck, with a vignette of fruits, within a circular pendant cartouche gilt with scrolls, within a gilt scroll and gilt line border, 26cm diameter
This bowl has areas of professional restoration, retouching and lacquering to the powder blue ground, gilding and vignette; it does not appear to be cracked across so the retouching probably conceals wear and rubbing - the retouching appears to be to the interior and gilt rim of the bowl and not the exterior.
